East Grinstead Comedy Club – August
With Thomas Green, Jimmy McGhie, Harry Pettitt and hosted by Jeremy O’Donnell!
Headlined by Aussie comic Thomas Green! Thomas is a master of his craft. Through years of work on the stage honing his skills, he can command rooms of all shapes and sizes and is likeable and engaging in equal measure.
Green’s shows can often descend into chaos, but it’s a chaos that he is always in control of. His whirlwind energy, mixed with his unmatchable crowd work skills, on top of his powerful storytelling make him one of the most captivating performers working today.
Born in Australia, Green was raised in a rather unique religious environment, from which he broke away to pursue his career in comedy, selling out tours and entertaining audiences across the globe with lauded sell out shows at Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Edinburgh Festivals, and branching out to the bigger stages opening for acts such as Mo Gilligan, Jason Manford, Russell Kane and many more.
After selling out all shows in 2025, Thomas Green’s Brainstorm tour is one of the hottest tickets around – now running through to the end of 2026 including 10 shows at London’s Leicester Square Theatre.
Opening the show is the brilliant Jimmy McGhie! Jimmy was an Assistant Producer for the BBC’s Science and History Dept, having spent seven years working in factual television before he ran off to join the stand up comedy circus professionally in 2009. Since then he has performed stand up all over the world and appeared on numerous television and radio programmes including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Comedy Central, ABC Australia, THREE New Zealand, Absolute Radio and many more.
He is “a brilliant talent” (The Scotsman) and with “an easy charm and appealing relaxed manner” (Chortle), he has performed 10 solo shows at festivals around the world including the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Sydney Comedy Festival, Perth Comedy Festival and New Zealand International Comedy festival.
He is now a top circuit act in the UK, as well as a highly sought after corporate awards host and TV warm up artist. He regularly provides the studio warm up for BBC1’s Graham Norton Show, ITV’s Loose Women and Ch4’s Deal or No Deal.
“Exquisitely done, with a compelling, simmering fury… impressive” – chortle.co.uk
A gloriously warm and wickedly sharp live act, Essex boy Harry is one of the most exciting prospects to emerge from the UK comedy circuit in years. With quick wit, effortless charm and a gift for relatable storytelling, Harry has a rare ability to win over any room — the kind of performer audiences feel like they’ve known their whole lives. Genuine, likeable and utterly compelling on stage, he is fast establishing himself as one of the most in-demand acts working in the country right now.
Harry’s rise has been anything but quiet. A finalist in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition in 2023, he has returned to the Edinburgh Fringe three times — each show better received than the last, and each one leaving rooms fuller and noisier than he found them.
As an act or compere, Jeremy mixes sharp one liners with friendly story-telling and sparkling off the cuff wit. His cheeky smile and friendly nature have endeared him to audiences all over Britain and as far afield as Berlin, Bahrain, Paris and Zurich
Jeremy has a reputation for reliably strong performances at major comedy clubs nationwide including Jongleurs and The Comedy Café. He also tailors his act for regular corporate shows. Jeremy is currently working on a pilot show for Channel 4
