Eshaan has appeared on shows such as Sex Education, Live at the Apollo, QI, Mock the Week, (becoming the first person of Bangladeshi heritage to appear on these shows), Celebrity Mastermind, Just a Minute, The Now Show, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Comedy Central Live, The Big Asian Stand Up Night, Sunday Morning Live, A Pie and a Pint and many more.
Eshaan was the voice of Rishi Sunak, Sajid Javid, and Narendra Modi on Spitting Image. He has hosted his own podcasts including ‘But Where Are You Really From?‘ on BBC Sounds, ‘Panic Room‘ on Audible, and the European award-winning business podcast ‘Nine Twenty Nine‘. He was the host of his own Saturday afternoon radio show on the BBC Asian Network, and Newsjack Unplugged on Radio 4Xtra. He is a regular guest on the Have A Word podcast.
In 2023, he toured the UK with his show, ‘The Pretender’, (“refreshingly funny hour that suggests a big talent in the making ****” The Times). He has performed three sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe – ‘Not for Prophet’ (2017), ‘Prophet Like it’s Hot’ (2018), and ‘Infidel-ity’ (2019) as well as sell out London transfers at the Soho Theatre.
Eshaan supported Micky Flanagan on his recent tour, including 9 sold-out dates at the O2 Arena.
Opening the show is Darran Griffiths! A comedian, host and podcaster born and raised in Harlow, to Jamaican parents, he has a blend of Caribbean confidence and Essex irreverence. Flagrant, thought-provoking and funny. To date, he has already appeared on television and radio, including BBC Three, Yanga TV, Pulse88 FM and BBC Radio. Also he has performed at some of the top comedy clubs including Downstairs at the King’s Head and the Comedy Store as well as the Hackney Empire and the Indigo at the O2.
He has been tour support of BBC Radio’s Aurie Styla and part of the national WAHALA Tour: Jamaica vs Africa, with Britain’s Got Talents Kojo Anim. Opened for Russell Howard, Judi Love, Simon Brodkin, Iain Stirling and Britain’s Got Talent winner, Axel Blake. He has also shared the stage with Alan Carr, Stephen K Amos, Mo Gilligan and many more. In 2019, he released his debut hour Essex Bwoy, on YouTube. In 2023, he made his Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut, with Inconceivable, which will be toured in 2024.
With rising star Ben Cohen! London based stand up, Ben, was New Jewish Comedian finalist in 2018 and Up The Creek’s One to Watch Finalist 2019. He has over 10 Million views on TikTok with his sketch duo, The Lovely Boys. He performs his quirky style of observational comedy in clubs up and down the UK and Europe also taking his act to Israel and LA.
