NOT TO BE MISSED MULTI-GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING AMERICAN COUNTRY AND BLUEGRASS MUSICIAN TIM OBRIEN WITH JAN FABRICIUS

Tim O’Brien the Multi-Grammy award winning singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will be weaving folk, country and bluegrass music along with Jan Fabricius.

Their performance as a duet with a guitar, a mandolin, and their two voices, bring an intimate and warm acoustic music roots repertoire that’s both original and traditional.

Tim O’Brien, was born in West Virginia, and grew up singing and playing guitar in church. After seeing Doc Watson on TV, he became a lifelong devotee of old time and bluegrass music. Co-founder of Colorado’s Hot Rize, he toured the world with that band until he started his solo career. His songs have been covered by Kathy Mattea, Garth Brooks, and The (Dixie) Chicks, and his collaborators onstage and in the recording studio include Mark Knopfler, Darrell Scott, Dirk Powell, and Sturgill Simpson. Awarded Grammys in both the Folk and Bluegrass categories, Tim is a member of both the West Virginia and the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.
