2. CONDITIONS OF SALE AND EXCHANGES
All tickets are sold subject to availability and to these terms and conditions. Purchase of tickets constitutes acceptance of these terms.
A valid ticket must be produced to gain entry to an event and must be retained while on the premises. Failure to produce a valid ticket may result in refusal of entry or removal from the venue.
Please notify us of any access requirements at the time of booking.
It is your responsibility to check your tickets upon receipt, as errors cannot always be rectified later. Chequer Mead is not responsible for tickets that are lost, stolen or destroyed.
Chequer Mead accepts responsibility only for tickets purchased directly from its own sales channels. Tickets purchased from third-party agents must be queried with the relevant agent. Duplicate tickets may be issued at the discretion of the venue or promoter and may incur an administration charge.
Chequer Mead reserves the right to provide alternative seating of equal value where necessary for staging or operational reasons.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check whether an event has been cancelled or rescheduled. While we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers, this cannot be guaranteed.
Ticket purchasers must be at least 16 years of age. Children under 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian who remains on site unless otherwise stated. Chequer Mead accepts no liability for under-16s left unsupervised.
Tickets are sold as non-transferable or exchangeable after a 24 hour cooling off period.
The number of tickets per transaction may be limited. Chequer Mead reserves the right to cancel bookings that exceed these limits or breach these terms.
For card payments, transactions may appear on your bank statement as “Chequer Mead”. Please contact the Box Office if you have any concerns.
3. TICKET PRICES AND PAYMENT
Ticket prices are those in effect at the time of purchase and include VAT and any booking fees. Prices are subject to change and cannot be applied retrospectively.
Tickets may be collected from the Box Office during opening hours or on the day of the event. E-ticket delivery is available for all events. Postal delivery is also available but will incur an additional charge.
Discounts, concessions and complimentary tickets must be applied at the time of booking and are subject to availability. Proof of eligibility may be required.
Children under the age of 16 require their own ticket. Infants in arms may be admitted free of charge to selected performances, at the discretion of the venue or promoter. Once a child is independently walking, they must have their own seat and a valid ticket.
4. DELIVERY
Tickets may be delivered as e-tickets or held for Box Office collection. If tickets are posted and returned as undeliverable, Chequer Mead reserves the right to cancel the booking and refund the ticket price only.
If collecting tickets, the card used for payment may be required along with confirmation of order details.
5. CHANGES TO EVENTS
The promoter and/or Chequer Mead reserve the right to alter programmes, content or casting where reasonably necessary. Such changes do not automatically entitle ticket holders to a refund.
6. REFUNDS / EXCHANGES / RESALE
Exchanges
Where possible, Chequer Mead may offer exchanges for another performance of the same production, subject to availability. Requests must be made at least one week prior to the event.
Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except where an event is cancelled, rescheduled, or subject to a material change. A 24-hour cooling-off period applies from the time of purchase, after which tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. Any approved refunds will be limited to the face value of the ticket and issued to the original purchaser using the original method of payment wherever possible.
These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
7. CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION
Chequer Mead reserves the right to refuse admission or remove patrons for reasons including health and safety, licensing requirements or inappropriate behaviour.
Children must be supervised at all times, with a minimum ratio of one adult per ten children. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.
